Born in Worcester, MA. Ty started playing sports at the age of 8. A prolific prep, college and professional athlete. He excelled in baseball and football. Ty is currently the Chair of the Hank Aaron Celebrity Golf Tournament. A certified Diversity Facilitator and former talk show host (On Cable Tonight with Ty Smith). A graduate of South High School (Worcester, MA), Assumption College, BA (Worcester, MA), University of Massachusetts MEd.(Amherst, MA), Harvard University Phd. candidate(Cambridge, MA). Mentored by the great Willie Mays.
